Samsung introduced three new devices today, one of which is the S5550 Shark 2, a candy bar slider form factor device. As part of the Shark series, the phone has a focus around one-click access to social networks, multimedia, and chat applications.

Featuring a sharp metallic back cover, the Shark 2 comes equipped with a 2.2-inch QVGA resolution AMOLED display, Bluetooth 2.1, a 5-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, and a microSD card slot for up to 8GB of added storage.

The Shark 2 measures 101.8mm x 47.7mm x 14.8mm (4in x 1.8in x .6in) and has a 960MAh battery for up to 11.7 hours of talk time.
